Correlation functions in unitary minimal Liouville gravity and Frobenius manifolds

چکیده
We continue to study minimal Liouville gravity (MLG) using a dual approach based on the idea that the MLG partition function is related to the tau function of the Aq integrable hierarchy via the resonance transformations, which are in turn fixed by conformal selection rules. One of the main problems in this approach is to choose the solution of the Douglas string equation that is relevant for MLG. The appropriate solution was recently found using connection with the Frobenius manifolds. We use this solution to investigate threeand four-point correlators in the unitary MLG models. We find an agreement with the results of the original approach in the region of the parameters where both methods are applicable. In addition, we find that only part of the selection rules can be satisfied using the resonance transformations. The physical meaning of the nonzero correlators, which before coupling to Liouville gravity are forbidden by the selection rules, and also the modification of the dual formulation that takes this effect into account remains to be found.

Correlation Functions of (2k−1, 2) Minimal Matter Coupled to 2D Quantum Gravity
We compute N -point correlation functions of non-unitary (2k−1, 2) minimal matter coupled to 2D quantum gravity on a sphere using the continuum Liouville field approach. A gravitational dressing of the matter primary field with the minimum conformal weight is used as the cosmological operator. Our results are in agreement with the correlation functions of the one-matrix model at the k-th critic...
متن کاملMinimal String Theory is Logarithmic
We study the simplest examples of minimal string theory whose worldsheet description is the unitary (p, q) minimal model coupled to twodimensional gravity (Liouville field theory). In the Liouville sector, we show that four-point correlation functions of ‘tachyons’ exhibit logarithmic singularities, and that the theory turns out to be logarithmic. The relation with Zamolodchikov’s logarithmic d...

متن کاملLogarithmic Correlation Functions in Liouville Field Theory
We study four-point correlation functions with logarithmic behaviour in Liouville field theory on a sphere, which consist of one kind of the local operators. We study them as non-integrated correlation functions of the gravitational sector of two-dimensional quantum gravity coupled to an ordinary conformal field theory in the conformal gauge. We also examine, in the (p, q) minimal conformal fie...

We evaluate the three point function for arbitrary states in bosonic minimal models on the sphere coupled to quantum gravity in two dimensions. The validity of the formal continuation in the number of Liouville screening charge insertions is shown directly from the Liouville functional integral using semi-classical methods. ⋆ Work supported in part by the National Science Foundation grant PHY–8...
